Universal has revealed the debut trailer for the comedy Identity Thief [IDTHF]. Jason Bateman [JBATE] stars as a man in Colorado named Sandy Bigelow Patterson who has his identity stolen by a woman in Florida, played by Melissa McCarthy [MMCCA] in her first big paycheck role off Bridesmaids. He heads south to confront the con artist in order to clear his name before his financial well-being is ruined for good. Since this is a Hollywood treatment of stolen identity fraud, there are plenty of car chases ending in crashes. Identity Thief hits theaters February 8th.
