What is the HSX Music Market®?

The Music Market operates as a themed stock market game - the Music Stock Exchange® - where registered traders can buy and sell shares based on musician, artist, song and album releases of the North American market - as well as a range of specially designed securities, options and mutual funds based on awards, concert tours, and other events (e.g. 'Grammy Warrants', 'MTV Award Options' etc.). MusicStocks® included SongStocks®, ArtistStocks®, AlbumStocks® and VideoStock® all of which can be traded for virtual currency such as the Hollywood Dollar® or Music Dollars®.

The Music Market allows traders to make their opinion known many times through the trading of multiple stocks representing a larger number of songs and artists – much more than they could do anywhere else. Traders do not just select "yes" or "no" - but rather they buy or sell a varying quantity of securities at any time. And on HSX Community Boards, traders can discuss their trades with friends and even profit through the Redemption of their Hollywood Dollars or Music Dollars for occasional prize give-aways.
