Just got back from seeing Amazing Spider-man and am curious what other people thought of it compared to Tobey's...
I must say that after much thought I've decided I like this reboot better than pretty much all 3 of the others. I wasn't sure how I'd feel about Garfield as Parker but I was thoroughly surprised by the fact I actually like him more than Maguire. Not sure if it's the actors themselves or if it's that Garfield's version was actually written to be the ****y, full of himself Spidey that I've been reading in the comics my whole life. And also high on the list for the new one being better is that they got rid of those magical web shooting wrists and brought in the web shooters.

I was prepared to dislike it because it was too soon for a reboot. But top to bottom, I thought it was a better flick. Jul 12, 14:37
