My idea to tie Nolan's universe into Justice League movie. SPOILERS of course.
We end TDKR with Bruce Wayne retired and hiding and JGL finding the Batcave. They've clearly setup JGL to take on some kind of hero role in the future, though it may never be seen on film if this universe doesn't continue.
My idea is to tie TDKR into being a prequel to Man of Steel. Much as was done in Rise of the Planet of the Apes with the space mission footage and newspaper clippings. Show footage of the events of TDKR at when Clark Kent is still a boy. Batman could be used as a good inspiration for those heroes with powers to actually move toward taking on a hero role themselves. So 10-15 years in the future, Superman takes up his mantle as Superman.
This 10-15 year time frame will have given more than adequate time for JGL to have trained and started taking on his own role as a costumed hero. This also gives the perfect time frame to have Superman be tied into an adaptation inspired by The Dark Knight Returns for his second movie. Doing that kind of story would also give the added benefit of allowing whatever roles were necessary to be recast if needed to show the aged actors.
