When I used to repost news bits, my first/foremost thought was "does this bit of news indicate a further step in the production/release
process?" If I thought it did, then I would post and tag it. The MEW dates (at least the ones with specific dates) indicate that a movie has a production date and schedule set and is almost guaranteed of going into production, which I believe is a huge step in the life of a movie in development and thus worthy of being posted and tagged.
The added bonus that such news will move the stock is secondary. So it moves up and then bleeds? The same happens when a director or actor or writer is attached and that news is posted. Sure, the bleed may take a little while longer to happen when people are attached versus when a production date is posted, but like I said, the stock movement is secondary to the fact that this is important news in terms of the life of the movie property.

Also, I'm not sure how necessary it is to post the dates for JGGUN and PRBIL, since they barely moved as non-specific dates from previous on Nov 25, 06:17
yeah, I saw DMac rule both ways on these. sometimes he is ok w/ such sometimes not. I figured start dates did move (to a different month) on Nov 25, 06:30
Sorry if I sounded blunt,my observation is that these posts move the stocks a bit.. then are back to bleeding state..so what's the purpose? {nm} on Nov 25, 06:31
not always the case. Jack Ryan comes to mind. it was in low 20's before news of the production start date was posted. on Nov 25, 06:53
