Well, except for CARS, UP, WALL-E, RATAT, CARS2 and BRAVE, which all opened in the summer under $70M.

FNEMO did 70.25 in June 2003.  The exception is TOYS3, which opened c. 110M in June.

THR: ased on pre-release tracking, MONS2 has a strong shot of $70 million or more. WWARZ could open in the $50 million range. Antibody Jun 19, 17:04

WWARZ being R is news to me, THR. I always thought it was PG-13. My OW predict for WWARZ is $56-$62M. Like Par's lowball of 45M, funny. {nm} eallensbp Jun 19, 17:19

Yeah, I posted a bit fast. I guess I tried to make the point that Pixar's OWs these days seem to get bigger with each release. {nm} eallensbp Jun 19, 18:17

The original is the only Pixar property about which I liked exactly nothing. And RATAT and INCRD are amongst my favourite films. second gary Jun 19, 18:26

Monsters is my favorite Pixar, Rat and Incred were just ok or less, But I don't like the prequel story line - seems to leave out all the JDolphin Jun 19, 19:00

Yeah, tatoufan, that's $66M, which seems to be their average OW--very few studios, animation or otherwise, can brag about such consistency. {nm} eallensbp Jun 19, 18:31
