Is there any word of progress on development of The Goldfinch? I've heard nothing since the news of Straughan's hiring to write it.

I'm hoping to hear that this thing is getting made. I was so disappointed for so long when The Corrections didn't make it to the screen. I don't want to hear that this book goes into the long slog of development hell.

I always thought the Secret History would be an interesting movie. Now this. It's big, it's sprawling, it's a real page turner. I hope there are enough people in the inside pulling for it.
