I agree to a certain extent. Despite the housing market, which doesn't reflect reality in the short run, things aren't economically great.
There is a general malaise to the economy. The economy grew 1.5 percent in the 3rd quarter, disappointing financial analysts. Recovery from recession has been slower than usual, and some are forecasting another recession, while some people are pointing to strong indicators that 2016-17 will be better.
But things are not great.
