Seth Rogen is going to need Sausage Party to be a big hit. Because this dope smoking stoner, one note shtick is over.
Who knows, maybe he'll become another Sandler, and make different kinds of movies, he did Steve Jobs, he's doing this animated film, that everyone talks about the script and there's lots of prominent people in it, so maybe that'll be a rebound for him.
Maybe that'll be the next phase. I hope so, because this phase is dead fish funny. I mean, who looks forward to yet another one of these inane, one joke stoner flicks?
Stoners. Who else?
When you're a young adult comedy, and the USERS on Rotten tomatoes say that only 70 percent liked your film, you know it most likely is either A: off the beaten path, different, forcing the audience to have to think in some way so they don't like it, or B: It sucks. Guess which one this is?
