step by step with the link solution :)

i really like the link feature here, so if no one minds, just being helpful, i'll go through in detail how to do it for anyone who is interested :)

1. first, copy the address to the page you want linked. (left clicking once your browsers address bar should highlight the address.)

2. in the forums, type your subject in the quick reply space. in the "additonal message" box, type any word, such as Link. use your mouse to highlight that word.

3. in the gray menu bar next to the smiley face is a fixed chain and a broken chain. while your word is highlighted, click the fixed chain.

4. this will bring up a box. paste your link address into the space labeled "Link URL".

5. select the option "target", by clicking the down arrow. select "open link in new window"

6. Type in a title if you want. it is not neccessary, but if you have some additional info that is one place you could put it.

7. click insert

8. the word you typed should now be blue and clickable

9. if the post is about a particular stock, you can put the symbol in between square brackets [ ] this will make the stck clickable, and also make your post show up on that stocks page. the symbol inside brackets can go anywhere in the message.

it seems like a lot of work, but it gets easy once you do it a lot (hmmm)
