I was reading about superstions and I'm not a religious man...
Dieing with one eye open is a sign that she was looking for the next person to die. I was not the first to see it as I was crammed in my basemnet home theater. However I may have been the 1st to notice. I had been there 19 months almost 24/7 to feed clothe, change diapers, and of course housework.
I also have a habit of touching the dead. Depending on where you touch there are different superstitions. I went with prosperity. Touching the forehead is kind of iffy.
I also contacted my mom's family. If someone out of state goes to the funeral, she will rest in peace. I'm hoping that just being aware of the death and the funeral will allow this to happen.
There's a little drama too...
My mom didn't have a will and told us the estate would be split 50/50. I was also on the deed to the house ever since the house was purchased. In July I had gone 3 days with about 3-5 hours of sleep because my mom was fresh out of having a brain tumor removed. I was very tired because no one else was doing anything. My sister was at work until the time my mom went to sleep and my great nephew became too much of a hassle for his parents, or helping out with my mom too much of a hassle, and my nephew works drinks and sleeps and does drugs.
So I was very tired and I lost contorl I was upset and not really yelling at my mom, but I definitely yelled at my drug dealing nephew because he could keep another promise. It wasn't the money. He came to me about it when I was cutting the grass. Everyone ganged up on me. Accusing me of stealing and making everyone scared. I called my lawyer that night to let him know I might need him to protect me from my sister.
July 10 she talked my mom into getting a will. She had my mom leave the entire estate to her and got a quit claim deed removing me from 1/2 ownership of the house. The only line in the will about me was "I leave to my son, William Roberson IV, nothing in this Will because other provisions have been made for him.".
I have no idea what the provisions are as I was not provided a details list as my sister was allowed. So I'm hooking up with my lawyer Monday. I have a right to know exactly what the provisions are, and that's all I'm asking for. If he want to handle, he can do with it what he pleases. I'm hoping for all 50% prior to the sale of the house because I am entitled to 50% of the estate and my sister plans to tear it down and rebuild. If she's not serious, she shouldn't use those words. I just want my half before she destroys it.
Thanks agin for the sympathy. I guess it helps. I'm kind of pissed and walking on pins and needles around here so screaming isn't an option. Sleeping is difficult.
