I read that Lobo was in Routan on vacation and my brother-in-law's family owns a home or Island there, whatever they are super rich.
I asked about Cuban cigars. I understand why there is a trade embargo, even though I may not agree that it should still be in place in 2014. Any how; I do not smoke cigars but I am told that the world's finest cigars come from Cuba. I have aslo seen that for a novice that the differance between a Honduran cigar and a Cuban cigar is undectable.
My brother-in-law told me that from his travels through Dominican Republic, Puerton Rico, Hondorus, Haiti....
.... that is is widely known that most Cuban cigars are actually Hondoran tobacco that is actually manufactured in Honduras. The cigars are then shipped to Cuba to get the stamp and it is that stamp is what makes the cigars so valuable, because in America we are not suppose to have them. I guess basically the idea of unlawful cigars are part of what the lure is to the cigar and it drives the price up for the rest of the world that import Cuban cigars. Has anybody ever heard of this or have their own story about Cuban cigars?
My brother-in-law is not a liar but this seems like it only makes sense if Cuba had a tobacco shortage. If it is true why would Hondorus do it instead of cornering their own market with the high end cigars and there is no trade embargo?
