Blood And Oil - Sundays are kinda dead now adays. This is going up against Sunday Night Football and The Good Wife. ABC isn't quick to yank things and Don Johnson is producing which means this should get to 13 but only ratings and/or quality will get it to whole season finish line. Being on a weak line up night it is 50/50. If it does better than expected ABC could complete the season having nice numbers... if it does below expected, they could dump it midseason and start fresh with something else.
Dr Ken - I think this show has a good chance for a complete season. ABC is slow to yank programs and even slower to yank Friday night material. Last Man Standing is returning for a 5th season? on Fridays even though it has never been a hit. Cristella wasnt outstanding last year in the same timeslot but it still got a full season. It is almost like ABC would rather give a whole season rather than go thru all of the work to get another show.
Quantico - This show is on dangerous ground. The trailer looks good... I was suprised when the trailer did not say "from the makers of Crisis", but it is on who cares night in who cares timeslot. ABC already has another program earmarked for the timeslot mideseason so this will have to great in order to get to 22.
Code Black - ER meets Grey's Anatomy meets Chicago Med. This will probably do well because of its timeslot and its competition. It is going againsst only Nashville and Chicago PD.
The Grinder - FOX does not do well with comedies (except ones that they hide inside their "animation night" on sundays). There are only two comedies on FOX schedule this season and they are both new shows. It is Rob Lowe and Fred Savage so it has a little chance but going up against NCIS; The Flash; The Muppets and The Voice results show is not looking good.
Grandfathered - See The Grinder... replace Rob Lowe and Fred Savage with John Stamos
