Based on the British television series “Wild at Heart” with centers on a veterinarian who moves his family to a game reserve deep in South Africa. Of course teen daughter Katie may never forgive her father for dragging them out of New York City to spend a year in a broke down lodge in Africa. In fact, the entire family is pretty sure Dad has lost his mind—from his second wife to her son and daughter—no one is happy about this move. But what his teenaged daughter and new family don’t know is, the lodge he’s dragged them all down to is where his deceased first wife, Katie’s Mom grew up and it is where her father still lives.
