DreamWorks Pictures hopes to turn the young adult book series 39 Clues from Scholastic into a franchise. Steven Spielberg wants to direct the film about a young boy and girl who must race against time to find clues about their family. The Cahill matriarch passes away and leaves 39 Clues to solve in order to learn the family's secrets. Jeff Nathanson scripts.
