Description
The 5th Quarter is a true story of how a football player honored the memory of his late brother who died in a car crash. Ryan Merriman stars as Jon Abbate who honored his brother Luke by holding up five fingers signifying Luke's jersey number before each game. As word of the tribute spread, rival players and fans joined in the tribute. The low-ranked team ended up traveling to the Orange Bowl. Aidan Quinn and Andie MacDowell play the parents. The film is written and directed by Rick Bieber.
