Description
Opening at the end of the year, Paul Schrader directs a story he wrote featuring Nick Nolte (NNOLT) and Sissy Spacek.
James Coburn co-stars as Nolte's alcoholic and physically abusive father.
Never really dealing with the abuse he suffered as a child, Nolte is an alcoholic policeman that also finds the time for a joint whenever the mood strikes him. The story revolves around a murder investigation without direction that erroneously delves into the lives of the main characters.
