Description
Based on the best-selling novel by writer Eoin Colfer, Artemis Fowl is a 12-year-old kid from a criminal family. After much of his family is snuffed out, Artemis makes one last attempt to retain the Fowls' former glory. He hatches an ingenious plan to kidnap a fairy and hold her for ransom in hopes of getting the famous fairy gold. Miramax Films and Tribeca Productions picked up the action fantasy with hopes of turning it into a franchise.
