Description
The Amati Girls tells the emotional story of four adult sisters and the relationship that they experience with their recently widowed mother. The sisters help their mother get through this difficult time in her life and, in the process, each sister discovers what is missing in their own life. By helping their mother, they learn how to improve their own families as well as the importance of family unity in the face of tragedy.
Academy Award winners Mercedes Ruehl (The Fisher King), Cloris Leachman (The Last Picture Show), and Lee Grant (Shampoo) star in the drama, along with Sean Young, Paul Sorvino, Dinah Manoff, Lily Knight, and Mark Harmon. The film is Anne De Salvo's directorial debut.
