Description
The French film Amelie of Montmartre is the story of a young and idealistic girl. Directed and written by Jean-Pierre Jeunet (Alien: Resurrection), the film tells the story of Amelie, a young woman who wants to help her friends find love. The cast includes Audrey Tautou, Mathieu Kassovitz, and Yolande Moreau. The film has become a hit in France since its April 2001 release. Miramax will distribute the film in the U.S..
