Julia Roberts and Catherine Zeta-Jones are sisters in the Revolution Studios production of the Peter Tolan - Billy Crystal comedy America's Sweethearts. Crystal plays a veteran publicist trying to stir up buzz at a press junket for a mediocre film starring an A-list couple, Zeta-Jones and John Cusack, who have just gone through a very public break-up. The publicist tries to bamboozle the media while attempting to reunite the two actors. Revoultion Studio head Joe Roth (Revenge of the Nerds 2) directs the picture.
