Description
Ben Affleck directs and stars in Argo based on a true incident during the Iran Hostage Crisis in 1979. The CIA and the Canadian government concocted a scenario to rescue six U.S. diplomats by disguising them as a Hollywood crew scouting a movie called Argo. Chris Terrio adapted the script from the Wired article “How the CIA Used a Fake Sci-Fi Flick to Rescue Americans from Tehran” written by Joshuah Bearman.
