Description

American Rhapsody is the feature writing and directing debut of Eva Gardos about Gardos' real life escape from Communist Hungary to the U.S. The film stars Nastassja Kinski, Scarlett Johansson and Tony Goldwyn and Emmy Rossum. Gardos' screenplay for American Rhapsody earned the top prize in the 1998 Hartley-Merrill Screenwriting Competition.
