Description
Although Alan Rickman's superior acting ability has been on display numerous times since the early eighties, its his role as the dark and questionable Professor Snape in the Harry Potter series that made him a household name. His role in 1988's Die Hard initially introduced him to American audiences and he has since appeared in Sense and Sensibility, Dogma, and Love Actually.
