Description
The Japanese animated character Astro Boy will become a CGI-animated feature via Imagi Animation Studios. The storyline follows a grieving scientist who builds a robot in the image of his dead son. The robot boy, in turn, uses his extraordinary powers to fight crime. Created by Osamu Tezuka, Astro Boy had its first incarnation on Japanese television in 1963.
