Description

Be Cool is the sequel to the 1995 hit Get Shorty. Elmore Leonard wrote the novel that provided the characters for both films. John Travolta is expected to return as Chili Palmer. Where as the original took a satirical inside look at the Hollywood moviemaking machine, the sequel has Chili dabbling in the music industry. Stacey Sher, Michael Shamberg, and Danny DeVito produce at Jersey Films. F. Gary Gray will direct from a script by Peter Steinfeld.
