In Legally Blonde, Reese Witherspoon stars as a recently dumped young blonde who decides to attend Harvard Law School to prove to her former boyfriend that she has more than just good looks. As an ambitious law student, she even takes on a highly publicized murder case in Beverly Hills. The comedy is based on Amanda Brown's novel of the same title. The film, whose screenplay was written by Karen Lutz and Kirsten Smith (10 Things I Hate About You), will be Robert Luketic's directorial debut.
