Based upon a true story, Bandits follows two bank robbers who become involved in a love triangle. Bruce Willis and Billy Bob Thornton are partners in crime who were highly successful until they crossed paths with a woman played by Cate Blanchett. She falls in love with both men and tags along, only to be misidentified as their hostage by the police. Barry Levinson directs the romantic comedy scripted by Harley Peyton.
