Description

Bloody Sunday is an Irish-British co-production about the infamous day in 1972 when a socialist meeting attended by Irish agitators ended in bloodshed. James Nesbitt stars as the civil rights activist Ivan Cooper. Other actors include Tim Pigott-Smith, Nicholas Farrellm and Gerard McSorley. Written and directed by Paul Greengrass, Bloody Sunday won a share of the top prize at the 2002 Berlin Film Festival.
