Description
Stockard Channing and Julia Stiles star in Business of Strangers. A frustrated businesswoman (Channing) finds herself stuck in an airport hotel with her young, reckless assistant (Stiles) who she doesn't particularly like. Removed from the settings of a corporate office, the two women try to put their differences aside. The drama unfolds as the two strong-willed women engage in an emotional power struggle that spirals them down a path of self-discovery and self-destruction.
The film from writer-director Patrick Stettner competes in the 2001 Sundance Film Festival.
