Description
Longtime favorites of the art-house set, the Coen brothers have built a career with their patented off-beat style of filmmaking. While Joel is credited with the directing and Ethan is credited with the producing, the screenwriting is a collaborative effort, and has resulted in some of the more interesting films of the last 15 years. The brothers' 1996 effort, Fargo, took home two Oscars, including Best Original Screenplay. Other films include The Big Lebowski, O Brother, Where Art Thou?, and The Man Who Wasn't There.
