Description
Dylan McDermott, the studly star of ABC's The Practice, can boast of a series of mentors who helped him along the way. A graduate of Fordham University in New York, McDermott first appeared on the tube in 1987's Hamburger Hill. He also appeared in the 1989 hit Steel Magnolias and in 1993's In the Line of Fire with Clint Eastwood and John Malkovich. It was through Eastwood that McDermott eventually met with the president of David E. Kelly productions and landed a role on The Practice as Bobby Donnell. As McDermott became one of the biggest television stars in the late nineties, he continued to appear in movies like Three To Tango in 1999 and Texas Rangers in 2000.
