Description
Gemma Arterton takes the title role in the comedy Tamara Drewe. The film is adapted from a comic strips by Posey Simmonds based on Thomas Hardy's 19th Century novel "Far from the Madding Crowd". Arterton plays a beautiful woman who was an ugly duckling as a child. She causes a big stir when she returns to her rural hometown. Dominic Cooper, Luke Evans, Tamsin Greig, Roger Allam and Bill Camp co-star in the film directed by Stephen Frears.
