Description
A graduate of Julliard, Diane Venora made her film debut in 1981's Wolfen, followed by her television debut in 1982's A Midsummer Night's Dream. Venora's next role of note was in 1984's The Cotton Club, followed by 1988's Bird, for which Venora received a Golden Globe nomination for Best Supporting Actress. By the 1990's, Venora had landed a regular role on the CBS medical drama Chicago Hope, while also essaying roles in such films as 1995's Heat, 1996's Surviving Picasso and 1997's The Jackal. More recent roles for Venora include the 1999 films, The Thirteenth Warrior and True Crime.
