Description

Denzel Washington made smooth transition to the big screen after six years on the T.V. drama St. Elsewhere. In 1989, Washington won the Oscar for his role in the Civil War drama Glory. Three years later, he earned a Best Actor nod for Malcolm X. He went on to win a second Oscar for Training Day in 2002.
