Description

The biopic Effie stars Dakota Fanning as Euphemia Gray, the wife of art critic John Ruskin, who refused to sleep with her. She then fell in love with his protégé painter John Everett Millais, played by Tom Sturridge, which scandalized Victorian England. Richard Laxton directs from a script by Emma Thompson.
