Description
Eyes Wide Shut details the lives of two married psychologists (Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman) who have erotic encounters with their patients. Considering Stanley Kubric's contributions to modern cinema, audiences can expect a sophisticated, thought-provoking film, and one that conveys the director's unique vision. Eyes Wide Shut is based upon the Arthur Schintzler novella, "Traumnovelle," though Kubrick is said to have used to book more for its tone than its plot. Kubrick passed away on March 7, 1999, and had finished cutting the film before his untimely death.
