Description
Dissatisfied with their white collar, consumer-ridden lives, Tyler (Brad Pitt) and Jack (Edward Norton) begin an underground pastime for men who share the same feelings of hopeless disillusion. As the title of the film might suggest, their brainchild is a club where bare knuckle boxing relieves a lifetime of yuppie frustration. In addition to beating each other to a pulp, Tyler and Jack also become embroiled in a love triangle with a girl named Marla (Helena Bonham Carter). The Fight Club is directed by David Fincher, who helmed one of the most disturbing crime dramas of all time, 1995's Seven. The film is based on the book by Chuck Palahniuk.
