Description
Mexican director Guillermo del Toro developed his love for film at an early age. He founded Necropia, a monster and makeup FX company, and eventually started directing films. He soon succeeded with 1993's Cronos. His first Hollywood film was 1997's Mimic. Specializing in horror fantasy, del Toro went on to write and direct Blade II in 2002 and Hellboy in 2004.
