Description
An Australian actor and onetime roommate of Mel Gibson, Geoffrey Rush's stage career was far more prominent than his work in film. Rush has specialized in darker roles, winning an Oscar for Best Actor in Shine and portraying the Marquis de Sade in the critically aclaimed Quill. Later works include voice work in Finding Nemo and as the chief villain in the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise.
