Description

The Good Sailor revolves around the sinking of the USS Indianapolis in 1945 by a Japanese submarine. Out of the 900 men who plunged into shark infested waters, only 316 survived. The ship's captain was court-martialed for losing the vessel. A 12-year-old Hunter Scott's class project generates a great deal of publicity to exonerate the captain in 2000. J.J. Abrams was attached to direct the emotional drama.
