Description
Veronica Guerin is the real life story of an Irish independent journalist who was murdered by drug dealers in 1996. Her murder was covered in Mike Sager's GQ article "The Martydom of Veronica Guerin". Guerin had written stories on Dublin's drug lords, and was shot while in her car at a traffic light. Joel Schumacher directs the film produced by Jerry Bruckheimer. Cate Blanchett plays the title role.
