Description
Douglas/Reuther Productions recently optioned Alice Hoffman's novel "Here on Earth," which tells the tale of a love affair doomed from the very beginning. Returning to her hometown in Massachusetts for the first time in 30 years, a single-mother encounters a former lover, who although married to another woman, has patiently awaited her return for three decades. Hoffman's other novels include "Practical Magic" and "Seventh Heaven."
