Description
One of Australia's most prominent actors, Weaving has acted in theater, film, and television for the past two decades. He received two Australian Film Institute awards for Best Actor for his work in The Interview and Proof. He also received an AFI nomination for The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert. Weaving came to Hollywood's attention in The Matrix and became a household name due to his efforts in The Lord of the Rings.
