Description

Russell Crowe stars as the man who blew the whisper on the tobacco industry. Al Pacino plays the "60 Minutes" producer who gets him to speak out in an episode of "60 Minutes" in 1994 that was axed by CBS's parent company, Westinghouse, due to pressure from the tobacco industry. it wasn't until the Wall Street Journal came out with the story did "60 Minutes" then aired an edited portion of the interview.

Christopher Plummer co-stars as the CBS reporter, Mike Wallace.

This movie was formerly called Man of the People (MANOF).
