Description
Horror guru John Carpenter has been directing creepy films since the late '60s, and has served as the composer for several of his works. Carpenter's most noteworthy films include such cult hits as 1978's Halloween, 1981's Escape from New York and 1982's The Thing. Carpenter attended Western Kentucky University, and began making short films in 1962.
