Description
Jeremy Irons first gained international celebrity status in 1981 when he starred in the BBC miniseries Brideshead Revisited and in The French Lieutenant's Woman opposite Merle Streep. In 1988, Irons received critical acclaim for his portrayal as twin psychopaths in David Cronenberg's Dead Ringers. He went on to win the Academy Award for his work in Reversal of Fortune as Claus Von Bulow. Irons has since appeared as a ferocious feline in The Lion King, Nabokov's pre-teen obsessed hero in Lolita, and an evil magic-doer in Dungeons & Dragons.
