Description
Perhaps the most charismatic actor to ever step in front of the camera, Jack Nicholson is not so much a legend as he is an icon. With Oscar nominations that span four decades, Nicholson has been honored by the Academy eleven times, and has won three Oscars. Nicholson began his career under B-movie king Roger Corman, before achieving cult status with the 1969 film Easy Rider. A string of box-office hits made the 1970s Nicholson's decade, although the 1980s proved just about as fruitful. Nicholson continued his reign through the 1990s with two Oscar nominations, including his most recent Best Actor win, for 1997's As Good as It Gets.
