Description
Jeffrey Wright hit the cinema spotlight in 1996 with his portrayal of legendary art world star, Jean-Michel Basquiat, in the critically acclaimed Basquiat. This work his multi-Tony award-winning portrayal as an outspoken nurse in the Broadway production of Tony Kushner's "Angels in America: Perestroika." Wright next starred in Ang Lee's Ride with the Devil and Woody Allen's Celebrity. Wright's star continues to shine bright with roles in Shaft Returns, Ali and Syriana.
