Description
Best known as the mother of seven of Steven Spielberg's children, Kate Capshaw got her start working on soap operas and first came to national attention when she starred in Spielberg's second addition to his Indiana Jones franchise, Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom in 1984.
After Temple of Doom, Capshaw's roles in films like Space Camp never seemed to propel her to stardom.
Capshaw has sporadically acted throughout the nineties in films like the 1995 Just Cause, also starring Sean Connery and Laurence Fishburne.
These days, Capshaw is also working as a producer as she recently starred in and produced the filmed version of the best selling book The Love Letter, which was distributed by Dreamworks SKG.
Capshaw sounds like she plans to continue acting in conjuntion with flexing her producing muscle as she has mentioned that she and Spielberg are talking about making a mystery/film noir.
